Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 50536 - Payments to Victims of the National Socialist Persecution
(a) Payments
received from the Federal Republic of Germany (German Reparations Payments)
pursuant to the federal law on the Compensation of Victims of the National
Socialist Persecution (Federal Compensation Law) as enacted on June 29, 1956
shall be exempt as income in the month received.
(b) Interest earned on German Reparations
Payments shall not be exempt and shall be considered countable unearned income
in the month received.
