Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 70843 - Storage and Disposal of Solid Wastes
(a) Solid wastes shall be stored and
eliminated in a manner to preclude the transmission of communicable disease.
These wastes shall not be a nuisance or a breeding place for insects or rodents
nor be a food source for either.
(b) Solid waste containers shall be stored
and located in a manner that will protect against odors.
(c) Syringes and needles shall be disposed of
safely as biohazardous waste in puncture proof containers.
