Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 4, § 12005 - Prohibited Player-Dealer Participation
(a)
A person cannot hire or finance, including but not limited to providing loans,
advances, or any other thing of value, the hiring of employees or independent
contractors, or both, whose job duties include the play as a participant in any
California game without an approved TPPPS contract.
(b) A person cannot play as a participant in
a California game as an employee or independent contractor except as authorized
in an approved TPPPS contract.
(c)
A person cannot play as a participant in a California game pursuant to any oral
or implied agreement with a cardroom business licensee
(d) Any Commission license or other approval
may be subject to revocation or discipline for a violation of this section. Any
application to the Commission for a license or other approval may be subject to
denial for a violation of this section.
