Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 8, § 20196 - General Provisions Applicable to Continuances and Extensions of Time
(a) The executive
secretary may designate member(s) of the Board staff to assist in performing
the executive secretary's functions with respect to continuances, extensions
and shortening of time.
(b) The
failure of a moving party to cooperate with the executive secretary or a
representative of the executive secretary or the assigned administrative law
judge in determining whether circumstances exist warranting a continuance or
extension of time will be grounds for denial of the motion.
(c) False or misleading statements in motions
or in contacts with the executive secretary, or a representative of the
executive secretary, or the assigned administrative law judge, in connection
with a continuance, extension, or a request to shorten time may subject a party
to adverse action under section
20800.
