Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 8, § 3195.8 - Physical Information and Adherence to General Safety-Related Operating Parameters
EXCEPTION FO R EXISTING PERMANENT AMUSEMENT RIDES: If any of the manufacturer-originated information specified by Sections 2.2.1 through 2.2.8 of ASTM F 698-94 (Reapproved 2000) is reasonably believed not to exist or is not reasonably available, the owner or operator, at a minimum, shall have permanently affixed to the ride the name and address of the manufacturer, if known, the ride name or description, the model or serial number, if known, the maximum number of patrons, and the maximum design speed of the ride. The required information shall be legibly impressed on a metal plate or equivalent and readily visible and legible at all times.
