1 CCR 301-25-22.0 - Exhaust System
22.1 The
tailpipe shall not exit the right side of the bus body.
22.2 The exhaust system shall be insulated in
a manner to prevent any damage to any fuel system component.
22.3 There shall be a switch to manually
start the diesel particulate filter regeneration process.
22.4 The tailpipe shall be flush with but not
extend more than one inch beyond the perimeter of the body for side exit or the
bumper for rear exit.
22.5 Tailpipe
shall not exit beneath any fuel filler location or beneath any emergency door
or lift door.
