Conn. Agencies Regs. § 13a-165-6 - Application review
(a) The OCC will
review the application for completeness and shall evaluate and verify the
information submitted in the application, including supplemental data and
documentation. The verification process may include personal interviews with
the owner(s) or principals in the business and with employees and business
associates, and may also include on-site visits.
(b) Within sixty (60) days after receipt of
the completed application, the OCC shall make a written recommendation to the
Department of Transportation's DBE Certification Panel and shall set forth the
reasons for its recommendation as to whether the applicant should or should not
be certified.
(c) The OCC shall
give written notification to the applicant of its recommendation, the reasons
for its recommendation, and the time, date and place when the Certification
Panel will meet to consider the application. This notification shall be sent to
the applicant by registered or certified mail, postage prepaid, at least ten
(10) days prior to the scheduled meeting.
