Conn. Agencies Regs. § 19-411-C13 - Weatherproofing
(a) All exterior electrical wiring shall be
in rigid metal conduit or electrical metallic tubing and all electrical
outlets, switches, and junction boxes and fittings shall be
weatherproof.
(b) Traveling cables
where used between the platform and the hoistway wiring shall be of the type
specified in the National Electrical Code 1978.
(c) Any electrical devices shall be kept as
far above grade level as is practical.
