Conn. Agencies Regs. § 19-411-C2 - General requirements
Each vertical wheelchair lift used or intended for use in the
State of Connecticut shall be constructed, equipped, maintained and operated
with respect to the supporting members; the platform or car, shaftway, guides,
doors and gates, safety stops and mechanisms, electrical apparatus and all
other appurtenances, so as to sustain safely the load which it is designed and
intended to carry according to the provisions and regulations of the
