Conn. Agencies Regs. § 26-67e-8 - Examination
(a) Any resident applying for an apprentice
class falconry permit shall successfully complete a written examination
administered by the commissioner, or the commissioner's duly designated agent,
prior to submitting a permit application, or show proof of successfully
completing a written falconry examination in another jurisdiction of the United
States during the five year period prior to such application.
(b) Any resident applying for a general or
master class falconry permit shall successfully complete a written and
practical field examination administered by the commissioner, or the
commissioner's duly designated agent, prior to submitting a permit application,
or show proof of successfully completing such written and practical field
examinations in another jurisdiction of the United States during the ten year
period prior to such application.
(c) To successfully complete a written
examination provided for in subsections (a) and (b) of this section, a person
shall answer correctly at least 80 percent of the questions relative to the
biology, care and handling of raptors and laws and regulations governing
falconry.
(d) Any person failing an
examination shall not retake the examination for at least 60 days following the
date of the previous examination.
