Conn. Agencies Regs. § 29-143j-32a - Official
(a) The payment of all officials shall be the
responsibility of the promoter. The promoter shall only furnish such payment
directly to the commissioner or such commissioner's authorized
represen¬tative who shall then distribute such payment to all officials. No
official shall receive any payment directly from the promoter or the promoter's
representative.
(b) The promoter
may use any properly licensed person to work as an announcer.
(c) The commissioner or such commissioner's
authorized representative shall select the officials that shall work at a
contest or exhibition.
(d) No
official may work in any contest or exhibition that has not been approved by
the commissioner or such commissioner's authorized representative.
(e) No officer, director, matchmaker or
stockholder of any promoter shall officiate, in any capacity, any contest or
exhibition conducted by such promoter or interfere in any way with the
contestants participating in such contest or exhibition.
(f) Each official shall wear appropriate
attire approved by the commissioner or such commissioner's authorized
representative.
(g) No official may
eat or drink, except water, alongside the combat area.
