Conn. Agencies Regs. § 54-222a-1 - Responsibilities of peace officers
(a) Each peace
officer within this state, as defined in Section
53a-3(9)
of the Connecticut General Statutes, who determines that a crime has been
committed shall, pursuant to Section
54-222a
of Connecticut General Statutes, render immediate assistance to each victim of
such crime unless another peace officer has already done so.
(b) That assistance shall include obtaining
medical assistance for the victim if the peace officer determines that the
victim has suffered physical injury as defined in Section
53a-3(3)
of the Connecticut General Statutes, unless the victim, having been advised of
the availability of medical assistance, instructs the peace officer not to
obtain such assistance.
