(1) All speed detection device permits issued
are valid for three (3) years and expire on December
31st of the third year.
(2) Permits may be renewed by completing an
amended application for permit as prescribed by Georgia Law and Department of
Public Safety rules. The completed amendment application must be submitted to
the Georgia Department of Public Safety Special Investigations Division, P. O.
Box 1456, Atlanta, Georgia, 30371-2303.
(3) Permit holders are solely responsible for
renewing the permit prior to the expiration date. No expiration notices will be
sent by the Department.
