Medicines Allowed in a Food
Establishment. Only those medicines that are necessary for the health of
employees, patients or residents in a care facility are allowed in a food
establishment. Subsection 720.01 does not apply to medicines that are stored or
displayed for retail sale. (7-1-21)T

Labeling of Medicines.
Medicines that are in a food establishment for the employees, patients or
residents use must be labeled as specified under Section 7-101.11 and located to
prevent the contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, and
single-service and single-use articles. (7-1-21)T
