Consumer
Reporting Agency. Any person who for monetary fees, dues or on a
cooperative basis, regularly engages in whole or in part in the practice of
assembling or evaluating consumer credit information or other information on
consumers for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports to third parties, and
who uses any means or facility of interstate commerce for the purpose of
preparing or furnishing consumer reports. (7-1-21)T
02.
Reports. Reports are made to
consumer reporting agencies of any non-custodial parent who owes overdue support
exceeding two thousand dollars ($2,000) and is at least three (3) months in
arrears after the court order is finalized. Notice will be provided to the
non-custodial parent prior to the report being made available to the agencies and
will inform the non-custodial parent of the methods available for contesting the
accuracy of the information. (7-1-21)T
