Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.03.04.722 - INTERSTATE CLAIMS COLLECTION

If a household owes a claim and moves from one State to another, the first State should start or continue collection action. The first State has the initial opportunity to collect. The receiving State should take collection action if the first State fails to act. The receiving State should contact the first State to be sure the first State does not intend to pursue collection. The State share of claims collected is kept by the State making the collection. (3-17-22)
