Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.03.04.792 - PRERELEASE APPLICANTS FROM PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS

Residents of public institutions who apply for prerelease program SSI may apply for Food Stamps before their release from public institutions. The application date is the date the person is released from the institution. Eligibility is based on the best estimate of a household's circumstances for the release month and the month after. Eligibility and Food Stamp amount are based on income and resources. Food Stamps for the initial month are prorated from the date the person is released from the institution to the end of the calendar month. (3-17-22)
