There are three (3) methods for Medicaid eligibility of an aged, blind, or disabled married person: The SSI method, the Community Property (CP) method, and the Federal Spousal Impoverishment (FSI) method. The FSI method takes precedence. If the participant is not subject to the FSI method, the CP or SSI methods can be used. (3-17-22)
