Continuous
Period of Long-Term Care . A continuous period of long-term care is a

services, or at home with HCBS. A continuous period of long-term care is also a
combination of institution and personal care services likely to last at least

eligibility, of thirty (30) consecutive days breaks continuity. The thirty (30)
consecutive days of long-term care must not begin on a day the participant is
hospitalized. If the participant is hospitalized after the first day of the
thirty (30) consecutive days, the hospital stay does not interrupt the thirty
(30) consecutive days. (3-17-22)

The start of a continuous period of long-term care is the first month of
long-term care or HCBS. (3-17-22)
