Ill. Admin. Code tit. 68, § 1325.10 - Examination
a) Orthotics. The
examination for licensure as an orthotist shall be the orthotics certification
examination of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics
& Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC).
b)
Prosthetics. The examination for licensure as a prosthetist shall be the
prosthetics certification examination of the American Board for Certification
in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics, Inc.
c) Pedorthics. The examination for licensure
as a pedorthist shall be the American Board for Certification in Orthotics,
Prosthetics & Pedorthics, Inc.
d) Candidates shall make application for the
examination, and pay the examination fee, directly to the designated testing
service.
e) Unsuccessful candidates
may retake the examination as many times as they wish. Retake application shall
be made to the designated testing service.
f) Application to the designated testing
service for purposes of taking the examination shall not constitute application
to the Division .
