Ill. Admin. Code tit. 11, § 205.85 - Hearing Officer
The Chairman of the Board may preside over any hearings or pre-hearing conference in accordance with this Part, or the Chairman may appoint a Board member or an Illinois licensed attorney as a hearing officer to conduct any hearings or pre-hearing conference in accordance with this Part. The hearing officer shall perform such duties as provided in 230 ILCS 5/14(a) and 14 a.
