Ill. Admin. Code tit. 50, § 2402.270 - Order of the Director
a The Director
of Insurance shall review the Hearing Officer's Findings, Opinions and
Recommendations and shall issue an Order as set forth by applicable statutes or
within a reasonable time.
b The
decision in the case will become effective immediately upon the execution of a
written Order, or as otherwise specified by either the Order or applicable
statute.
c Parties shall be
immediately notified of the order, either personally or by mail, postage
prepaid, certified or registered, addressed to the last known address of the
person, partnership, association or company involved. A copy of the Order shall
be delivered or mailed to each party or to his or her attorney of
record.
d The Director may, as part
of the Order, require any party to the proceeding to pay part or all of the
costs of the hearing, including, but not limited to: witness fees, court
reporter fees, hearing officer fees, and the cost of the transcript.
