Ill. Admin. Code tit. 89, § 104.910 - Definitions
As used in this Subpart and 89 Ill. Adm. Code 140.Subpart L:
a) "Knowing" and "knowingly" mean
that a person, with respect to information:
1) has, or should have, actual knowledge of
the information;
2) acts in
deliberate ignorance of the truth or falsity of the information; or
3) acts in reckless disregard of the truth or
falsity of the information, regardless of whether there is specific proof of
intent to defraud.
b)
"Medical card" means a document, or any other tangible thing, that causes the
Department to pay for essential medical services and supplies.
c) "Person" means, in addition to natural
persons, any firm, corporation, partnership, association, agency, institution
or other legal organization.
