Ill. Admin. Code tit. 89, § 121.25 - Failure to Comply with Work Provisions
a) An individual who, without good cause,
fails to comply with the work registration requirements (see Section
121.23) or who voluntarily quits
a job or reduces work hours (see Section
121.27) will be sanctioned from
receiving SNAP.
b) An individual
who fails to comply with the work provisions is an ineligible household member
(see Section 121.31(h)).
c) Good cause includes circumstances beyond
the member's control such as, but not limited to, illness, illness of another
household member requiring the presence of the member, lack of transportation,
a household emergency or the lack of adequate child care for children ages six
through 11, as defined in Section
121.75(a)(4).
