Ill. Admin. Code tit. 89, § 409.330 - Transportation of Homeless Youth
a)
A YTHP providing transportation of homeless youth shall comply with the
provisions of: Sections 6-101 and 6-102 of the Illinois Driver Licensing Law
[625 ILCS 5/6-101 and 6 -102], the Illinois Safety Responsibility Law [625 ILCS
5 /Ch. 7], the Illinois Rules of the Road [625 ILCS 5 /Ch. 11] and the Illinois
Vehicle Equipment Law [625 ILCS 5/Ch. 12].
b) The driver of a vehicle transporting
homeless youth or their minor children on behalf of a program shall be at least
21 years of age.
c) The number of
homeless youth transported in a vehicle shall not exceed the manufacturer's
rated passenger capacity.
d) Seat
belts shall be worn at all times the vehicle is in motion.
e) A vehicle used by the program to transport
homeless youth or their minor children shall be equipped with restraint systems
required by law and maintained in a mechanically safe condition at all
times.
