Ill. Admin. Code tit. 92, § 451.10 - Purpose and Scope

This Part prescribes the requirements of the Illinois Department of Transportation governing:

a) Implementation of Article VIII, the Illinois Vehicle Equipment Law (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 951/2, pars. 12-800 et seq.) [625 ILCS 5/12-800 et seq.];

b) Implementation of the Illinois Vehicle Inspection Law (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 951/2, pars. 13-100 et seq.) [625 ILCS 5/13-100 et seq.];

c) Operations of Official Testing Stations;

d) Inspection procedures for school buses;

e) Inspection procedures for special education school buses; and

f) Performance of the daily pre-trip inspection by school bus drivers.
