326 IAC 10-3-4 - Monitoring and testing requirements

Sec. 4.
(a) Beginning
May 31, 2004, and each ozone control period thereafter, any owner or operator
of a Portland cement kiln complying with section 3(a)(1) of this rule shall
operate and maintain the device according to a preventative maintenance plan
prepared in accordance with
326 IAC 1-6-3.
(b) Beginning May 31, 2004, and each ozone
control period thereafter, any owner or operator of a Portland cement kiln
complying with section 3(a)(2) or 3(a)(3) of this rule shall monitor
NOx emissions during the ozone control period of each
year using a NOx CEMS in accordance with 40 CFR 60,
Subpart A* and 40 CFR 60, Appendix B*, and comply with the quality assurance
procedures specified in 40 CFR 60, Appendix F* and 326 IAC 3, as
applicable.
(c) Beginning May 31,
2004, and each ozone control period thereafter, any owner or operator of an
affected boiler or commonly owned affected boilers shall monitor fuel usage and
percentage of heat input derived from each fuel combusted to demonstrate that
greater than fifty percent (50%) of the heat input is derived from blast
furnace gas.
