327 IAC 5-10-1 - Purpose

Sec. 1.

This rule ( 327 IAC 5-10 ) establishes treatment requirements which are applicable to certain discharges of pollutants in addition to any other treatment requirements and effluent limitations imposed under this article (327 IAC 5). Where applicable, such additional treatment requirements shall be implemented through the inclusion of effluent limitations and other appropriate terms and conditions in the discharger's NPDES permit pursuant to section 301(b)(1)(C) of the CWA and 327 IAC 5-2-10(a)(4).
