345 IAC 10-2-7 - Labeling of exempt poultry products

Sec. 7.
(a) Poultry
products produced in an establishment operating under an exemption or limited
permit described at IC
15-17-5-11(a) must be labeled with the following
information:
(1) Establishment name.
(2) Establishment address.
(3) The common name or usual name of the food
product.
(4) The net weight or
volume of the food product by standard measure or numerical count.
(5) The ingredients of the food product, in
descending order by predominance by weight.
(6) The date on which the food product was
produced.
(7) The statement "Exempt
P.L. 90-492 " or a similar statement notifying the consumer that the product
was produced and processed at a facility that is exempt from inspection under
IC
15-17-5-11.
(b) Poultry products produced in an
establishment operated under a limited permit described at IC
15-17-5-11(f) must also include the statement "Limited
Permit - Retail HRI".
