35 IAC 2-9-2 - Definitions

Sec. 2.

(a) The definitions in this section apply throughout this rule.
(b) "Americans with Disabilities Act" refers to the Americans with Disabilities Act ( 42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.) and all applicable regulations and amendments, if any, related to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
(c) "Candidate" means an individual who has successfully passed the physical agility test and, if applicable, the general aptitude test under IC 36-8-3.2-3 or IC 36-8-3.2-3.5 and received an offer of employment that is subject to the individual's successful completion of the physical and mental examinations identified in IC 36-8-3.2-6 and IC 36-8-8-19.
