410 IAC 16.2-1.1-51 - "Physician orders" defined

Sec. 51.

"Physician orders" means those orders facility staff need to provide essential care to the resident, consistent with the resident's mental and physical status. At a minimum, these orders include dietary, medications, and routine care to maintain or improve the resident's functional abilities.
