Sec. 1.
(a) This rule
applies to all managed care providers and community mental health centers that
provide an alternative family for adults program and residents of those
programs.
(b) An alternative family
for adults program shall meet all of the following requirements:
(1) The program serves six (6) or fewer
residents with a psychiatric disorder or addiction living with a householder
who is not an immediate relative (spouse, child, parent, grandparent,
grandchild, or spouse of those listed).
(2) The householder is certified by the
agency to care for the residents in accordance with their individual treatment
plans.
(c) A copy of the
certificate shall be kept on the premises of the residence, and a copy shall be
kept by the agency.
