68 IAC 8-2-16 - Warning systems and emergency public notification

Sec. 16.
The warning systems and emergency public notification section shall include the following:
(1) An
identification of responsible officials on board the riverboat and a
description of the methods by which those officials will notify the patrons and
public of an incident , impending incident , or on-board incident .
(2) Notification may be accomplished in one
(1) of the following manners:
(A) A siren or
other signal. The meaning of the siren or other signal and the response to be
taken in reaction to a siren or other signal shall be set forth in the
emergency response plan.
(B) Other
methods of notification of patrons, including, but not limited to, an intercom
system, deck-to-deck announcements, and room-to-room
announcements.
(3) A
description of the methods for coordination of emergency public notification
during an emergency response.
