Iowa Admin. Code r. 199-12.2 - Inspections

The board or its representatives shall from time to time inspect the construction, maintenance, and operation of pipelines or underground storage facilities and equipment in the state of Iowa to determine if the same are unsafe or dangerous and whether they comply with the applicable standards of pipeline safety. The inspections will be made in the board's capacity as an interstate agent for the U.S. Department of Transportation.
