Iowa Admin. Code r. 199-21.5 - Engineering practice for water service
(1)
Requirement of good engineering
practice. The design and construction of the utility's plant and
distribution system shall conform to good standard engineering
practice.
(2)
Inspection. Each utility shall adopt and follow a program of
inspection of its plant and distribution system in order to determine the
necessity for replacement and repair. The frequency of the various inspections
shall be based on the utility's experience and accepted good
practice.
