Iowa Admin. Code r. 491-12.5 - Gaming table container
Each gaming table in a casino shall have attached to it a container.
(1) Each container shall
have:
a. A lock securing the contents of the
container, the key to which shall be logged out by the count team.
b. A separate lock securing the container to
the gaming table, the key to which shall be different from the key in paragraph
12.5(1)"a " and shall be logged out by the drop team, count
team, or emergency drop personnel pursuant to subrule 12.13(1).
c. A slot opening through which currency,
forms, records, and documents can be inserted.
d. A mechanical device that will close and
lock the slot opening upon removal of the container from the gaming
table.
(2) Keys referred
to in this rule shall be maintained and controlled in a secured area by the
security department. The facility shall establish a sign-out procedure for all
keys removed from the secured area.
