Iowa Admin. Code r. 591-17.27 - Proposed decision-administrative law judge

The ruling of an administrative law judge in a contested case proceeding is a proposed decision which will become the final decision of the UST board unless there is an appeal. Any appeal of a presiding officer's proposed decision shall be made to the UST board. A proposed decision shall be issued by the administrative law judge within 120 days following the close of the hearing.
