A victim of sexual abuse is not responsible for the payment of
the costs of a sexual abuse examination determined to be eligible for payment
by the department. A medical provider must not submit any costs associated with
a sexual abuse examination to a victim's insurance or to the sexual abuse
victim. A medical provider must not submit any remaining balance to the sexual
abuse victim after the sexual abuse examination program has determined
payment.
