Iowa Code r. 481-70.34 - Activities

(1) The program shall provide appropriate activities for each participant. Activities shall reflect individual differences in age, health status, sensory deficits, lifestyle, ethnic and cultural beliefs, religious beliefs, values, experiences, needs, interests, abilities and skills by providing opportunities for a variety of types and levels of involvement.
(2) Activities shall be planned to support the participant's service plan and shall be consistent with the program statement and participation policies.
(3) A written schedule of activities shall be developed at least monthly and made available to participants and their legal representatives.
(4) Participants shall be given the opportunity to choose their levels of participation in all activities offered in the program.
