Kan. Admin. Regs. § 44-12-106 - Hair standards and appearance

(a) Each inmate shall keep the inmate's hair neat and clean and follow reasonable health and safety standards. When working in food services, each inmate shall wear a cook's hat, or net, or both for sanitary purposes. Inmates working in food services shall not have facial hair in excess of one inch in length or shall wear beard nets, and shall keep this hair neat and clean.
(b) Violation of this regulation shall be a class III offense.
