La. Admin. Code tit. 33, § XV-734 - Possession of Survey Instruments
A. A licensee authorized to use radioactive
material for imaging and localization studies shall possess a portable
radiation detection survey instrument capable of detecting dose rates over the
range of 0.1 milliroentgen per hour to 50 milliroentgens per hour, or a
portable radiation measurement survey instrument capable of measuring dose
rates over the range of 1 milliroentgen per hour to 1,000 milliroentgens per
hour. The instruments shall be operable and calibrated in accordance with LAC
33:XV.716.
