16-219 C.M.R. ch. 27, § 01 - Location
A. No tent or tents shall be erected to cover
more than seventy-five (75) per cent of the premises; nor shall any tent be
erected closer than ten (10) feet to other structures except as hereinafter
provided in paragraphs (B) and (C). Stake lines of adjacent tents shall be
sufficiently distant from each other to provide an area to be used as a means
of emergency egress.
B. Concession
or other tents not occupied by the public need not be separated from each other
and may be erected less than ten (10) feet from other structures only if the
administrative official deems such closer spacing safe from hazard to the
public.
C. Tents, each not
exceeding 1,200 square feet in area, located on fair grounds or similar open
spaces need not be separated ten (10) feet from each other, provided safety
precautions meeting the approval of the administrative official are
taken.
