Md. Code Regs. 09.12.55.01 - Purpose and Authority
A.
These regulations are adopted pursuant to Public Safety Article, Title 12,
Subtitle 4, Annotated Code of Maryland. This law provides for determinations by
the Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation as to three subjects: Further
requirements for standards of safety glazing material; additional glazed
elements to be designated "hazardous locations"; and exceptions of certain
panels from the definition of "hazardous locations".
B. These regulations are to be read in
conjunction with the Safety Glazing Law, Public Safety Article, Title 12,
Subtitle 4, Annotated Code of Maryland.
