Md. Code Regs. 11.02.04.04 - Affirmative Action Plan
A. The
Department shall develop an Affirmative Action Plan to address any need for
corrective action.
B. The
Affirmative Action Plan shall:
(1) Be designed
to achieve equal opportunity through positive, aggressive, and continuous
results-oriented measures to correct past or present discriminatory practices
and their effects on the conditions and privileges of employment; and
(2) Provide general and specific procedural
guidance in relation to:
(a) Publicity and
dissemination of equal opportunity/affirmative action (EO/AA)
matters;
(b) EO/AA requirements in
employee recruitment and selection; and
(c) EO/AA related education and
training.
