Md. Code Regs. 26.13.06.03 - Preparedness and Prevention
A. Except as provided in §§B and D of this regulation, an owner or operator of a facility subject to this chapter shall comply with COMAR 26.13.05.03 s.
B. An owner or operator of a facility shall comply with §C of this regulation instead of COMAR 26.13.05.03 s B during the period of interim status.
C. Facility Operation. The owner or operator shall maintain and operate the facility to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment.
D. An owner or operator who is subject to this chapter is not required to make the demonstrations to the Secretary required in COMAR 26.13.05.03 s C and F, concerning required equipment for use in emergencies and required aisle space, respectively.
