104 CMR 29.12 - Acceptance or Rejection of the Community Service Plan
(1) Once the written community service plan
is complete, it shall be given to the client or his or her legally authorized
representative for acceptance or rejection.
(a) Upon acceptance by the client or his or
her legally authorized representative, the community service plan shall be
implemented.
(b) If the client, or
his or her legally authorized representative, does not object to the community
service plan within 20 days of receipt, the plan shall be deemed to be
accepted.
(c) If the client, or his
or her legally authorized representative, rejects some or all of the community
service plan, the program shall inform him or her of the right to meet to
discuss the community service plan and to discuss possible
modifications.
(d) If agreement
regarding any such modifications is not reached and the client or his or her
legally authorized representative continues to reject the proposed plan, he or
she may appeal the plan pursuant to
104 CMR
29.16.
(2) The parts of the community service plan
that are accepted by the client or the client's legally authorized
representative may be implemented immediately, if appropriate.
