105 CMR, § 450.329 - Friable Asbestos
All asbestos containing material shall be maintained in good repair and free of any defects including, but not limited to, holes, cracks, tears or any looseness that may allow the release of asbestos dust, or any powdered, crumbled or pulverized asbestos material. Any violation of 105 CMR 450.329 shall be corrected in accordance with regulations of the Department of Environmental Protection appearing at 310 CMR 7.15 and the regulations of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development appearing at 453 CMR 6.00 and with any other applicable statutes and regulations.
