106 CMR, § 702.190 - Failure to Register as Sex Offender

The Department shall not approve an application for new benefits for any person required to register pursuant to M.G.L. c. 6, §§ 178C through 178P, and who has failed to register until the individual registers as required by M.G.L. c. 6, §§ 178C through 178P. Prior to the denial of benefits, the Department shall provide the applicant with:

(1) notice of the applicant's failure to register; and
(2) a reasonable opportunity to be heard.
