106 CMR, § 702.410 - Documentation in the Case Record

The case record is the permanent collection of the information necessary for determining eligibility and providing benefits and referrals for services.

All decisions regarding eligibility and case actions must be based on information documented in the case record.

Information in the case record is protected by provisions of confidentiality. See 106 CMR 701.320: Right to Confidentiality. The applicant or client may access to information in the case record. See 106 CMR 701.330: Right to Information.
