106 CMR, § 703.210 - TAFDC Dependent Child: Pregnancy
(A)
Requirements. Assistance may be provided for an
otherwise eligible pregnant woman:
(1) when
verified that the child is expected to be born within 120 days of the date of
application, or, if the pregnant woman is a teen parent (see
106 CMR
701.600: Definition of
Terms), at any time during her pregnancy if she is meeting the school
attendance requirements found in
106 CMR
703.181; and
(2) if such child had been born and was
living with her, the child would meet the nonfinancial and financial TAFDC
requirements.

(B)
Verification.
Pregnancy and the due date shall be verified by a statement from a competent
medical authority as defined in
106 CMR
701.600: Definition of
Terms.
